How To Change App Store Country?

“I want to change the App Store country, is that possible?”

 

Many people have encountered this issue after upgrading to the iOS 6

Lucky for you, the solution is dead simple.

 

You Will Also Dig:
    •  Can Android Run On iPhone?
    •  How To Save iPhone Battery?

 

Follow these steps:

1) Go to the App Store.
2) Scroll down and click your Apple ID.
3) In the pop-up window, choose ‘View ID’.
4) Enter your Apple ID Password.
5) Click ‘CountryRegion’ to modify it.

    problem is any change of app store
    means you have to have the means to pay in the new country now chosen…
    which i don’t . what really sucks is that i’m only trying to get a free app,one that involves no payment at all….oh well,

      you just have to create a new apple ID with the country of your choice, and choose “none” in the payment method, you can only use this account for free apps

    Updating with iOS 6.1 must cose this irritating issue! Why is there no easy solution provided by Apple? I paid for this machine!!

    Ahh, found the solution to “Account not in this store”!
    Go to facilities and switch on ITunes Match, enter your Apple logon ID and you’ll be switched to your right account!

      ITunes Match requires subscription of $24.99 per year. I don’t want to pay for this!

    Unfortunately that doesn’t work for me (iOS 6.1)

    On my phone I clicked on a web-page link to an app-store app that (it turned out) was only available in a different country’s app-store (I’m in Australia, and it was only available in the US app-store). The app-store app told me this and said I’d have to change app-stores to view the app, so I tapped the button to change stores. I can’t get it to change back. None of the instructions I’ve found on the web work.

    According to the iTunes account info (as viewed through the application on my Mac) I’m in the Australian region, and no amount of signing out and signing back in, of closing the app-store app on my phone and reopening it, or re-synching my phone helps… when I try, on my phone, to update one of my apps, it still tells me I’m in the wrong app store and have to change back to the Australian app store.

      I was able to fix the problem by basically doing the inverse of what caused it in the first place.

      In Safari on my phone I clicked a web link to the app store I wanted to switch to (the Australian app store), it then opened the App Store app, I scrolled down to the bottom and clicked the “Apple ID: [user-name]” button, it asked me to sign in, which I did, then told me I had to switch app stores, and I clicked the button to do so… and this fixed it.

    Note that it does not work if you have credit in the AppStore. You need to spend it before switching.

    Thank you!!!!!! For days I couldn’t do anything in the App Store because I had inadvertently changed it to a different country. Other sites bickered back and forth with crazy answers such as “restore your device to original factory settings”. Yours was so simple, to the point and best of all…it worked!!!!!

    Thanks! got the latest IOS (not sure the number…) the iphone 5 automatically changed my app store to UK when i tried to download a UK store app, then it told me I cant buy the app due to my account being in a different country (Hong Kong). Couldnt change it back. Followed your steps and it automatically changed my store back to Hong Kong.

    I have $0.22 in my acc .. but now i want to change the store to Singapore .. But they said i have to use all of my credits.. how can i buy with $0.22 ? and how can i fix it?
